The Mary McCarthy Society will sponsor a panel at the American Literature Association Annual Convention in Boston, MA, May 25-28, 2017.

Call for Papers: New Perspectives on Mary McCarthy

With the forthcoming Library of America collection of Mary McCarthy’s Fiction edited by Thomas Mallon (March, 2017), Mary McCarthy’s work continues to be relevant to us today. This panel will address new perspectives on Mary McCarthy’s contribution as a fiction writer, public intellectual, satirist, feminist, political activist, and social commentator. Please send 250 word abstract and brief bio to Sabrina.FuchsAbrams@esc.edu by January 15, 2017.
